The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially started the registration process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027. Eligible candidates seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes can now submit their applications online for the examination, which is scheduled to be held on December 6, 2026. 

CLAT is the national-level entrance examination accepted by participating National Law Universities for admission to five-year integrated BA LLB programmes, LLM courses, and several other law programmes offered by participating institutions across India. Many private universities also consider CLAT scores during their admission process.
