The provisional answer keys will be made available on the official NTA examination portal. Along with the answer keys, the agency is also expected to publish the candidates' recorded responses and question papers, allowing examinees to compare their answers with the official solutions.

After the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections against any answer they believe is incorrect. Each challenge must be supported by valid academic evidence and submitted within the prescribed deadline along with the applicable processing fee.

Once all objections are reviewed by subject experts, NTA will publish the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET June 2026 results. No further objections will be accepted after the final key is released.

UGC NET determines the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions in participating institutions, while the CSIR UGC NET is conducted for science disciplines, including Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Earth Sciences.
